Using rigorous analyses of ancient Egyptian records, the Old and New Testaments, early Christian and Rabbinical texts, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the rituals of Freemasonry, Knight and Lomas have assembled a startling and controversial book which shows the original Jerusalem Church to be a political device for establishing control, and the Bible to be far from literal truth. 16 plates.

This truthful and fascinating book is well worth to read. It reveals such truths the public is not aware of.

I GIVE 5 STARS TO THIS BOOK. You better read this book yourself, and it's worth it. I read it and I believe what it says is very probably true. Christopher Knight went to Egypt and made great discoveries about ancient history. Who knows what is true from what the Bible tells us? Some sources, incl. this book says that there are "strategic lies" in the Bible. This book says that even the slavery in Egypt and the Exodus were not as the Bible tells us. And this book (like other authors too) says that even the Gospels are not originals; they are a heavily re-written version of the original teachings of Jesus, which were in fact very "nationalistic." The original scrolls of the Gospels were hid and a strongly modified version of them was put out, because of the Roman Wars in 70 AD. The Roman Wars were triggered by the Jews refusing to pay taxes, and in a new version of a Gospel the Jesus figure says: "Give Caesar what is Caesar's..." (i.e. pay taxes to the Romans). The original scrolls were dug up by the Templars during the First Crusade in 1118-1127 and they are hidden now in Scotland. Immanuel Velikovsky in "Ages In Chaos" says that abt 500 years are stolen from real history of the Jews and they are replaced in the Bible by the part "The Judges," which is an exact copycat re-telling of stories from other ages. OK, so, read this book and discover who were those "Shepherd Kings or Desert Princes" who ruled Egypt from 1780 to 1550 BC. That is the key to the truth. They they were not "unknown" if they ruled Egypt for 200 yrs. Yet the Bible does not mention any names of them. And learn about the Pharaoh Amenhotep/Akhnaton who is the alleged original inventor of the Mosaic Law around 1350 BC. The Pharisees of the Bible were in fact the priesthood of Akhnaton; those priests with the new teachings had been chased away by the Egyptian people, and they fled to Jerusalem around 1350 BC. Now, again about those "Shepherd Kings or Desert Princes." I had read in some (false) sources that around 1780 some (unknown!?) people from the deserts of the East took over Egypt without a fight, they stayed 200 yrs and then they went away to the East, and fog covered their path. An impossible tall tale this is. The truth is much simpler. Religious brainwashing is used for controlling the crowd. But this book is eye opening, and I firmly believe that what it says is true. My answer to the commentator below is that all religions are a sort of invention, told by "messengers" of God, who had "wireless" connection with Him. But He gave different messages to different groups' messengers, and each of those said that the former message was distorted and the "new" one was true. Immanuel Velikovsky, the famous Russian Jewish historian in "Ages In Chaos" also mentions the Exodus debate, but he only says that "some" sources say different stories about the Exodus, and he himself brings up a personal logical argument only, not proof, of what is supposedly the truth. But Christopher Knight went to Egypt, probably saw related documents, and he even mentions very special, even funny details of events in Egypt, which he took from original archives and which corroborate what he says.

Donkeyhote, I agree with your statements, but just suppose what if Exodus never happened, or happened differently as we are to believe. If that were true, then all falls apart. Good book "Tutankhamun: the Exodus Conspiracy" is one of many that rises some compelling questions.

Christopher Knight is a Mason, he has an agenda and must toe the line. Lies piled on top of lies to divert the seeker from finding out the truth. Be open minded when reading this 'history'. Always do your own research to confirm what is already said.
