Cocaine Cowboys is a matter of fact documentary about the cocaine trade in Miami. The movie tells the real life stories of a major dealer, a smuggler, an enforcer as well as local, state and federal law enforcement personnel. Miami went from a sleepy resort destination to the cocaine capital of the world in just a few decades. Billions of dollars in drugs were involved making those in the business rich and creating Miami's robust and lively economy. On the down side the city's homicide rate skyrocketed due to cartel turf wars and vendettas. The movie has graphic images so it is not for the feint of heart.
