Hop Hopkins is a fixer - when a studio star gets in trouble, he makes that trouble go away. He got to where he was by cleaning up a particularly messy problem a couple of years ago; when a young starlet goes missing, he makes sure that no one is asking any questions. Now, though, someone who knows what he knows is making him look back at the events of that night. Fair warning - this book is really dark. I felt faintly sick after reading certain parts of it. That said, it's still a fascinating read, and you'll be ripping through the pages to find out what really happened.

Absolutely LOVE this author. Maybe my new favourite. Also read Bury Me Deep (available at Essex County Library)
