Pretty terrible. It seemed like it was trying to be like Dave. (Kevin Kline). it failed. All the performances were wooden (excepting Lewis Black and Laura Linney). There is nothing to reccomned this movie. The 'message' was trite.
Skip this film.

I've watched "dramedies" before but this one was unusual in that it didn't mix both elements very well. It's like it had two different genres of films running parallelly.
Robin Williams's side of the film was an unfunny political satire about a TV talk show host, Tom Dobbs, who runs for president and gets elected due to a glitch in the new voting machines.
Laura Linney's storyline is a political thriller about a computer programmer, Eleanor Green, who discovers a defect in the software that calculates the votes in the new voting machines. The company, whose fortunes are riding on the success of the machines, does everything it can to keep Eleanor quiet.
Eventually, the stories converge and drags on because Eleanor can't seem to just spit out the truth to Tom Dobbs.
The movie was quite boring and the message ham-fisted. The way it was filmed was worth commenting about though.

It was OK. Borrowed it to watch second time, but actually did not have time.
Recommend it.

Not a good movie. The plot is boring and uninteresting. Does not do anything to grab your attention and keep it. Humour was disappointing, and the added drama was just out of place and weird.

Not a great movie, but I've seen worse. Good to fill a rainy afternoon.

This film's attractions include engaging plot & cast & an interesting commentary on politics & ethics. Unfortunately, its intelligence is undermined by too many crude, boring jokes about sexual anatomy & the discrepancy that, as usual, Robin William's humour concerns character & attitude--not politics.

Robin Williams was a great choice for the lead character in this film. He makes it what it is.
