GOOD 1968 Doris Day/Martin Melcher (her husband/producer) film - their last before she quit movies and went to TV.
An interesting late 1960's look at second marriages/blended families with children, etc. Doris and Brian Keith were in their mid 40's at time of film.
I've been viewing lots of Doris Day and this is most recent. Not as good as her 1950's movies IMO, but still fun viewing.
Amusing ending with the double chicken truck crashes, the hippie/flower people motorcyclists, etc.

I laughed so hard at the end, but maybe it was pregnant hormones and the fact that it was midnight when I was watching it.

If you're looking for something in this genre, check out "Yours, Mine and Ours" starring Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball instead, a film released in the same year. That's a much better choice.

"With Six You Get Eggroll" is only notable from a historical perspective. It's Doris Day's last film before she moved to television, and it has small parts and cameos for actors who went on to much bigger things. The film records George Carlin's film debut, for example, as a waiter at a drive-in in the Valley that the starring couple frequents. We also get to see Jamie Farr and William Christopher together as hippies who hang out at the drive-in before they're together on TV in M*A*S*H as Cpl. Klinger and Father Mulcahy.

Goofy typical Doris Day movies. She was actually quite good at comedy. Really enjoy all the outfits.
