"Prudence, Franny, and Cat all live on Gumm Street, but they aren't exactly friends - until Ivy moves to town. Ivy and the other girls all take piano lessons from Mr. Staccato, a collector of rare and wonderful things. After Mr. Staccato gives Ivy the ruby slippers from the original Hollywood production of The Wizard of Oz, he dies under mysterious circumstances. When still more strange incidents occur, the girls band together for a wild adventure that bears a strong resemblance to the story of Dorothy and her motley crew. Silly, exciting, and unpredictable, this tale will keep Oz fans flipping pages right to the end." This is one of the best books I have ever read. I recommend that everyone go and read it now! Pru, Franny, Ivy and Cat are all great characters and you can relate to them all.
The story was great and put a great twist on the Wizard of Oz. I would greatly appreciate a sequel!

Really like this book. It was funny and sweet, but with thrilling adventures!! Pru, Cat, Franny and Ivy are all great characters, and Cha Cha, well, not so great, but still.
Must read!
