For the first time, Stephen Grey tells the inside story of international prisons sanctioned by the U.S. Government and used by the CIA to hold and torture people suspected of terrorism.       Using contacts deep inside the U.S. Government, Grey reveals how deeply the Bush administration is involved in the program and questions the truth of statements made by Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice. He also shines a spotlight on the heads of European nations who turned a blind eye to the program when it showed up in their back yards. Grey takes an unflinching look at a horrendous practice that scorns Geneva Convention rules and is powered by corruption at the highest levels of governments worldwide.       Through his unprecedented access to CIA flight records and dozens of sources at the senior levels of the current administration, Grey has produced a story of flight plans, extreme torture, and the clash of religions and governmental posturing that goes on today. Ghost Plane tells the stories of individuals abducted at airports around the world and transported for interrogation and torture on a fleet of leased planes manned by CIA operatives.       Grey paints a disburing ethical picture of the war on terror and lays the responsibility for abduction and torutre at the doorstep of Washington, D.C.

The Torture Report by Senator Diane Feinstein this 12/09/2014 indicates that the torture information revealed in this book is true. Read also Black Banners, written by FBI agent Ali Soufan, who exposed the untrained CIA contractors who experimented with these torture techniques.

Under George W. Bush, innocent people were almost routinely picked up by the high-living CIA agents (staying at the best hotels, eating at the finest restaurants, no money was spared in the CIA's extremely high profile activities, and idiot faux newsies wonder why it took so long to locate bin Laden?) and shipped to prisons to be tortured - - note that Bush sent one of those innocents to Syria (for God's sake! Syria?) to be tortured - - today that is considered an enemy regime, but under Bush it was a friendly? Several Arab-Swedes, also innocent, who have since been found not guilty and won payment from the Swedish courts, were extreme renditioned while the Swedish Minister of Justice was Borgstrom, later a partner in the law firm which brought the legal case for the extradition of WikiLeaks' Julian Assange for "questioning"? One of those companies involved in extreme renditions, Jeppesen Dataplan, is a subsidiary of Boeing, no less? Read this book! [FYI: Presently, CIA analyst and whistleblower, John Kiriakou, resides in prison for leaking the illegal torture of the CIA, while President Obama suppresses a $40 million report on the CIA's illegal torture - - and people wonder what is wrong with America, and why it is called the Great Satan?

Ghost Plane, The True Story of the CIA Torture Program. When I saw the film Rendition starring Jake Gyllenhaal, I thought it was mostly fiction when it depicted American agents torturing prisioners. I said to myself that American agents would never torture prisoners endlessly. I was wrong. America tortured prisoners just like North Korea, Egypt and South American dictatorships. This book indicates that torture is part of the secret CIA menu served up to various "war" prisoners. Stephen Grey, arrived at the torture facts by tracking down air jet serial numbers, cell phone numbers and interviewing those complicit in the torture scheme.
