Wowee, I was a Joe Gores fan up until this book, so many gigantic plot holes, one must suspend disbelief on waaaay too many occasions (I lost count, but at least 10 - 15 times). The cockamamie story fed to the main character, who appears to be the most witless main character ever devised, should shut down the novel right there!
