It’s a grand video, ‘tis. It must be the first in the Sharpe series. Here’s where we are introduced to Harris and Harper, Tongue, and the other Chosen Men. They’re sent on a mission far behind the French lines in Spain to plant the pennant of Santiago above the village and to sew the seeds of dissension in Napoleon’s Spain. Its in this episode that we meet Theresa, a Spanish guerilla payed by Assumpta Serna, a young lady we shall come across again: the will eventually become Sharpe’s wife --- oops; I’ve spilled the beans.
As usual, good watching.

Ok movie. Doesn't quite follow the book but that's understandable, however great British acting, period costumes and backdrops.
