This is the first of this series that I have read, and I am looking forward to more. The heroine is a middle aged and very active woman, not some young woman with all the usual, tired cardboard traits. You know the type. Long flowing hair, a great figure, porcelain skin. A lot of us readers like more down to earth, imperfect heroes. This author delivers a great plot, good characters and satisfying.mystery. Plus our middle-aged lead gets a younger man,
