This is another collection of short stories where I’m sure I haven’t read all the stories yet but somehow I know what’s happening in all of them.

The Mystery of the Spanish Chest was probably my favorite of the stories. I like that the Miss Lemon in the books is really nothing like the Miss Lemon of the TV shows. She only has a very small part in this one but I really liked her.

It’s been a while since I’ve spent some time with Poirot, and I’ve forgotten how much dignified fun he is! There’s also a Miss Marple case in this collection…the first I’ve read of her adventures. I think I prefer the “little egg-shaped Belgian with the enormous mustaches.”
