I would give this more stars if I could. Owl is endearing and silly and the stories are just as good as the ones in Frog and Toad. My two year old loves it and I enjoy reading it to her. :)

Weird and insular but genuinely delightful, although kids these days will know they don't have to put up with it. The bit where Owl thinks of sad things so he can cry into his teapot to make tea is particularly wild.

Sons loved this, we also own some of the authors others, like Frog and Toad and Mouse Soup, which are also thoroughly enjoyed. This one tends to be have a bit more oddball stories relative to the other two themes, but the kids loved them all the same, and asked to be read these repeatedly at bedtime.
