Slow, slow, and slow! Low volume talking, too dark of a set, no real action. Don't waste your time! Pee-u!

It was a good movie. But I agree with the others on some topics. It is disappointing how women are treated and viewed. It makes things like cavemen. It was tge thing I disliked most about this movie. They even have women working as milk cows. Which is gross. Perhaps the movie writers were part of Peta and La Lech Leaugue. If they wanted to creep women out tgey suceeded. I think frankly the movie would of been fine, and much better without that sort of stuff in it.

This more a study in set design than it is a film. I guess the producers found it difficult to up the original Blade Runner story so instead they opted for style and great looking scenes, which this film has, but it seriously lacks a solid story line. Sadly disappointed.

Fabulous movie. Very worthy sequel to a classic. Presents existential philosophical issues as well as the first, has suspenseful story line, great cinematography, great soundtrack, suspenseful and intellectual. One of the best films I have seen in the past 10 years.

Wow, the future is really sexist! Most roles in this film women are only for sex, only one is a cop. They should have shot just in black and white cause there is so little colour. In addition all the ads have gone down to just a few companies in the future. The story is long and convoluted and in the end you are left wondering why it was so important to begin with. This film is way to chauvinist and they should have fired the director. Very disappointing, it would have been better if they had showed it in the 1960's cause it reflects that mentality more then today.

I don't know what the heck was going on. too many slow pauses of just staring at each other (like in The Office, when Jim stares at you for 30 seconds).

Too many characters to follow, slow pace movie.

The original Blade Runner had an edge to it in the plot, characters and action. This follow up has none of that. If you saw and liked the original, nothing we write will stop you from watching this one, but you were warned.

Like most of the quotes comments below; too slow and too long. After reading the director is the same one from The Arrival, makes perfect sense. Both movies were simply boring!
I hope that if a second Blade Runner is coming, that they get someone else to do the movie but here's hoping they leave it alone. 2 hours and 40mins of my life wasted!

Pages of quotes in IMDb including this title card introduction:

Replicants are bioengineered humans, designed by Tyrell Corporation for use off-world. Their enhanced strength made them ideal slave labor. After a series of violent rebellions, their manufacture became prohibited and Tyrell Corp went bankrupt.

The collapse of ecosystems in the mid 2020s led to the rise of industrialist Niander Wallace, whose mastery of synthetic farming averted famine. Wallace acquired the remains of Tyrell Corp and created a new line of replicants who obey. Many older model replicants - Nexus 8s with open-ended lifespans - survived. They are hunted down and 'retired'

Those that hunt them still go by the name... Blade Runner.
