Not Mo Willems best, but still Mo Willems.

A sequel to "Leonardo, the terrible monster", after Sam and Leonardo become friends. Sam is still scared of everything, especially Kerry another kid who is friends with a monster. Leo and the other monster decide to leave the to kids together to work out their fears. They discover they have both differences, and things in common. When Leo and the other monster return (holding what look like coffee cups) the two kids have become friends.
Same style as Leonardo's book, with the tall pages and over sized text. Very cute, and would work great for sharing with multiple kids.

Sam (who is scared of everything except Leonardo, the terrible monster) finds a new fear he's never known before: the fear of making a new friend! Enter scaredy-cat Kerry and her terrible monster, Frankenthaler (best monster name ever!). The two monsters leave Sam and Kerry on their own to figure out how to navigate a new friendship. They soon find they have plenty in common and also some differences. This is confusing at first, but doesn't matter because it's okay to be different and still like each other!

Another hit from our pal, Mo Willems. Kids and parents nervous about the first day of school or making friends in new situations will appreciate this story. Don't forget to look for the pigeon!
