An OUTSTANDING series with a Western flavor, and that's fairly rare. Watch it. FIVE STARS.

Best season yet and ended much better than season two. Though much of the episodes were on solving the Denver case and addressing his deputy's personal problems, there were always a few murder cases to investigate and solve.

Found this series by accident. Loved it. Wonderful scenery, interesting stories and no bad language. Looking forward to series 4.

Season 3 does not disappoint! This series is great because of compelling stories, good acting and interesting characters which are explored in depth. Henry Standing Bear, Longmire's best friend is accused of murder; Deputy Branch is trying to find the man who tried to kill him, that everyone thinks is a ghostly White Warrior, and Longmire finally solves his wife's murder.

Great series starring one of the baddies from the Matrix, Wyoming lawman of today might as well be from the 1800's his brooding demeanor, self-reflective nature and non flinching morals makes people respect and go to him for upholding the last bastion of law and order in America's still wild West.

Chance: I-I don't understand why people bother to... to lock their phones. The NSA are listening in on every damn call anyway.
===
Walt: Remember what Thomas Jefferson said? "The tree of liberty must be refreshed "from time to time...With the blood of tyrants."
Chance: "Patriots and tyrants."
===
Doctor: Well, you're a lucky man. The bullet just grazed you. No serious damage. Now you just need to go and buy some lottery tickets and take some time off work.
===
"Decency." My father used that word a lot. He died a broken, decent man at the age of 59 with $200 in his bank account and tens of thousands of dollars in debt. I sure as hell don't plan on doing the same. Farming's changed. 20 years from now, there will be 20 farmers in all of Wyoming. I aim to be one of 'em.

Walt: Did you know that a lot of politicians and C.E.O.'s are sociopaths? I got another word for 'em.
Vic: But why are you thinking about C.E.O.'s and politicians and sociopaths?
Walt: Because they're smart. They're organized. They're planners. They don't mind playing games with people's lives.
====
Walt: I hate to ask you, but can you get in touch with her (Deena)?
Henry: I believe that bridge is fully incinerated.

Walt: Who's responsible for that? (beaten up face of Henry)
Henry: Hard to say. The Native American Brotherhood hunt in packs. But I am confident the novelty of beating up the new guy will wear off.

Angry father: Dr. Mallory said it was "an option." That's what he called it. But it really was just the latest ploy white doctors are using to wipe us out. They've done it before. In the 1880s they'd wrap newborns in disease-covered blankets. Up until the 1980s, they were sterilizing Indian women without their permission. A woman would go to the clinic for an appendectomy and leave with a hysterectomy. Now, every time an Indian girl turns up pregnant, they tell her to abort. They say it saves their future...But all it really does is
destroy our tribe's legacy.

Helper: You know, you really should call 911.
Walt: I am 911.
===
Henry: Well... I can take care of myself.
Walt: And you can play the fatalistic Zen Monk all you want, but if they put you away, they stop investigating, and we never find out who is really behind all this. Now, if you're not willing to fight for yourself, you do it for my wife.
===
Branch: Hey, Walt...Thanks.
Walt: For what?
Branch: [pregnant pause] ... For finding my hat.
