GOOD 2006 Sepia compilation of 28 pop music cuts from 1951-1955 by talented singer, who continued on as a solo act after the rest of The Boswell Sisters act quit the business in mid-30's. Apparently she was also a composer and arranger as well as singer.
Connee was a big inspiration to Ella Fitgerald. Just learned from Wikipedia that Connee always performed from a wheelchair or in a sitting position due to childhood polio or a leg accident.
