Interesting documentary about the scientists and explorers that preceded the Mercury/Apollo space program. Recommend.

PBS show about early ascent to the stratosphere, mostly by balloons. Shows the men involved and the challenges they faced. Suitable for all ages, including kids. Worth a look if you have any interest in the beginnings of NASA and the space program.
