An exploitation women and racial stereotypes with gratuitous sex and violence thrown in for ratings. This is not a series for an thinking person as there is not much thinking going on. An old theme of Indians and Cowboys, yes the natives are bad once again. Have Caucasians not grown tried of this old lie. Having said that the stunts and special effects on mangled bodies and shoot' em ups, blood everywhere are quite good. But the scenes are more for ratings than talent. This season has less sex scenes as I am sure the women wanted more money to do them, and as usual you see men's butts but that is all. Nothing really new here, more blood and gore.

Really good show with well written, complex characters; great action; and interesting villains (almost everyone shows some level of villainy).
I could have done without all of the squelchy camera movements and the later seasons had too many dream sequences. As far as all the nervous Nellies complaining about too much sex - there is *MAYBE* one minute of sex per episode.

Scruffy heroes, greasy girls, lots of violence. Good popcorn and beer entertainment.

As before, super violent!
There is a strange sense of morality and honour among thieves amidst the many dances of death, so the bloodiness is generally not gratuitous.

More of the same in this third Season: sex and violence. The fighting scenes are well choreographed. But a person can be savagely beaten and in a few hours will function like nothing has happened. Wow. Still, this is an OK mindless watch.

DISCLAIMER:
The following only makes sense if you're familiar with this series, which basically involves people: going postal (karate chopping, shooting, stabbing, and killing) on people; blowing things up; and having sex, and you watch this chapter.
The minute a certain person found out about Hood's past, I knew they were going to be written out of the show. It's too bad, because I found that character pretty likeable.
I do enjoy this series and will return for Season IV.
