I didn't read the description very closely, I guess, but i was surprised to find that this was a collection of short stories. Some were very enjoyable and others were just good - I don't think McKillip can be less than good - but I was hoping for another Riddlemaster of Hed-type novel. I'll just keep waiting and hoping. In the meantime, I can always re-read these stories!
