The last time we saw Nancy and the Botwins, it was through the scope of a hitman's rifle. Nancy had sprung from the joint and gone to New York City, where she made a fresh start doing what she does best: selling pot and making enemies. Now everyone's wondering who put out the hit, and who got smoked.

I'm a real big fan of this show especially the first 3 seasons. Then the show got severely uneven and definitely jumped the shark season 7. This final season doesn't reach the heights of the best but it's not as bad as the worst. The cast is great and it benefits from Jennifer Jason Leigh who's featured prominently for most of the episodes and then Natasha Lyonne makes a brief but welcome appearance.

Just watched the last show of the season and got teary eyed. I hated that Nancy pretty much f--ked her to every opportunity but I loved the comedy of the show. Im not a parent but I watch others and its hard as hell. Parents do what they know and hope for the best. I know all good things come to an end but this show was my quick comic relief before bed (I like to go to bed on a happy note at the end of of a shitty day) so IT WILL BE MISSED!!!

I thought Nancy was always a crappy mother and loved the fast life, the thrills. I was hoping that she might be redeemed a bit. The series ended on a sad note. Worth watching if you have invested your time watching the rest of the seasons.

Not as good as other seasons but what ever is right? Got to watch it if you like weeds. Good ending, last episode. Glad to see the show end so I can move on and stop watching, maybe someday I will watch all episodes again when I have time.

In season eight, the final season, the series picks up right after the assassination attempt on Nancy Botwin's life. Obviously she survives but not without consequences. Several months later the Botwin family makes an attempt to get of out marijuana business and get regular jobs and live more normal lives. That plan does not work out. Silas is offered a job with a tobacco company to covertly develop a brand of weed to be sold when marijuana becomes legal. In the series finale the storyline jumps to the future where Stevie is about to have a bar mitzvah party. All of Nancy's family, friends and former enemies gather for a wild and crazy get together.

This season taints the entire series. Super sappy. I don't recommend watching it.

Not the best in the series, but still good

Not nearly as funny or entertaining as previous seasons. They didn't wrap up the character's lives very well, the ending was rather sad, and I felt cheated by it all. Most disappointing was the way the Andy/Nancy storyline.
