Call of Duty

Call of Duty My favorite game is Call of Duty. It is a first person shooter. The objective is to kill as many as you can and not get killed yourself. There is a game mode where it is every man for himself. There is also another where you get one bullet to kill with and you can knife to get an extra. Same objective, but you fight for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Call of Duty is fascinating to me a… (more)

Today I will be reviewing Black ops 3 better known as BO3. BO3 is the sequel to BO2 which was one of the most remarkable first person shooters. Sadly BO3 does not live up to the expectation. I personally did not find the game that entertaining, it was an slightly below average at best. Things i did not like in specific include how poor the servers were, and how futuristic the game had become. The game lost its old school touch and became way too futuristic by allowing boost jumping and other features, This only made cheating even harder to detect and made the game not enjoyable. Things I did like include, the old school maps, the same weaponry, and the same modes we previously had played on BO2. Although BO3 personally did not live up to my expectation it is still a playable game. I would rate it 2/5 at best.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the third Black Ops in the series, was released in 2015 for both PS4 and Xbox One. Black Ops 3 is like it's other siblings, a first-person shooter game with three game modes, Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies along with a new bonus section that includes three bonus modes as well. This Black Ops is a refinement of Black Ops 2 with better visuals, sounds, maps, guns, basically A LOT of new stuff. In Multiplayer, there is the ability to boost jump and slide while playing along with new "Specialists" which are new character-based classes where you can unlock and choose which character to fight within multiplayer. Each character comes with its unique skills and there are two to choose from for each character. A lot of new guns were also added into BO3's multiplayer that looks cooler, more detailed, and have better stats on them. In Zombies, new maps were introduced with new characters and their perspectives such as the map "Shadow's of Evil". I won't talk about every map but Shadow's of Evil is a new map in BO3 that is taken place in a city called "Morg City" with four new characters, Jack Vincent, the cop, Nero Blackstone the magician, Jessica Rose the dancer and Floyd Campbell the boxer. In my opinion, this map is fun to play and probably the best free map in zombies. Another thing in zombies that is new is called Gobblegum. Gobblegums are gumballs that you can find throughout the game inside gumball machines around a map and each one grants a specific yet unique ability to your player. I think that Treyarch (the developer company of this game) added a lot of new stuff that was beneficial to the game and the one thing I like about what they added was the new gobblegums because some of them can drastically change bad situations in zombies that make zombies more fun. To be honest, Black Ops 3 is still a game that is playable even though it's nearly 4 years old and just recently, Black Ops 4 was released but, it's still a great game to play and still has a good amount of people playing. 4.7 out of 5.

The story of the campaign is horrible. I found the zombies section is more fun.
