I absolutely loved the first one but the second wasn't nearly as good. Still cute and the characters are all great but it kind of drug on a bit.

The movie “Pitch Perfect 2” is worth watching if you have seen the first one. Definitely watching the third movie and I wonder what they will once they all graduate, will they meet again? I guess I have to watch “Pitch Perfect 3” to find out. The DSM, also known as Das Sound Machine, was a really good and competitive Cappella group. They were Bella’s competition and seemed very hard to win against. I will not spoil anything so you will have to watch the movie in order to find out who won the very intense World Championship. Some other things I found nice about this movie was that it is filled with entertaining songs and has important lessons in it as well. 3.5/5 rating. @TheBookieReadingMonster of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Loved the first one and was looking forward to #2....didn't last an hour it was so bad...stay away!

Very funny in places, a bit predictable in others. Worth watching for a light, entertaining evening in.

The German team, Da Sound Machine (DSM), is actually really good. If it is real competition, their performance at the World Competition is way better than Bella's and they would win instead. Overall, the comedy part and the story line are just so-so, but the music alone is good enough to make it up as a good movie to enjoy.

The singing was enjoyable, as always, and the addition of the German group was a great one, but dang if every actor didn't seem like they were phoning it in.

Dopey, sexist, anti-fat (just because Amy's laughing along doesn't make it OK), and the German team were a lot sexier. Even so, Pitch Perfect 2 was as entertaining as the first installment. Enjoyed the boot camp sequence.

Funny! Funnier than what I thought it would be. Great music!

I enjoyed this one just as much as the first installment. I could re-watch them both over and over again and never get tired of them. The Amy & Bumper story is my favourite part of this one.

The first Pitch Perfect was ridiculous. This one is so much more ridiculous. Normally, I hate these kinds of movies (that is to say I rarely watch comedies at all), but something about the absurdity and writing works in this context.

Frankly, I'm not too excited about a third addition to the franchise as I imagine it will be so absurd, it'll be beyond ridiculous. What's left? The Bellas compete for intergalactic acapella champions? Pitch Perfect 3: The Space Opera. "In space, no one can hear you scat." Yet, as long as Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Hana Mae Lee are signed on, I'll probably end up watching it.
