really well done documentary.... engrossing, and good narrative. I am glad I watched this even though I don't know much about cycling or Pantani. Wish the outcome was happier, but much learning and reflection comes in tragedy. Highly recommend!

Beautifully filmed and photographed. Extensive racing film, including Pantani's early years as a junior racer. Thoughtful, honest interviews about a charismatic, tragic individual.

Wonderfully done. I'm not a fan of cycling, but I really enjoyed this documentary and how encompassing it was. 'Pantani' has so many aspects to it: humble beginnings, sky-high motivation, teamwork, doping, media scrutiny, betrayal. It paints a vivid picture of the cycling world and I found that it has really helped me to understand how much goes on behind the scenes. It also helps if your main character is as memorable as Pantani.
