In 2000, Kenneth Young received four life without parole sentences. He was 15 years old. 15 to life is the story of a child condemned to die in prison, seeking a second chance in one of the most punitive justice systems in the world. For over a decade, Kenneth believed he would die behind bars, now a U.S. Supreme Court decision could set him free. 15 to life follows Young's struggle for redemption, revealing a justice system with thousands of young people serving sentences intended for society's most dangerous criminals.

this movie moved me and really opened my eyes to the huge problem or children incarcerated for life sentences - months after watching - it still weighs heavy on my mind -
