For something called "The Story of Food," this is a surprisingly US-centric view. While it occasionally goes further back in time (Columbus comes up a lot, for example), it wasn't as global as I'd expected from the title. Also, like the chapter on sugar, the documentary sometimes really pulls its punches, sometimes seriously weakening the overall quality.
