Matt doesn't believe in God or faith, especially not after his younger brother killed himself after being bullied for being gay, not after his family isn't a family anymore and not after everything in his life has been turned upside down. No matter what his Christian girlfriend says about faith, Matt isn't gonna start believing. After Matt is placed in a horrific event that plunges him into a dark and silent place he hears a rumble that makes him question everything he’s ever disbelieved in before.
This author likes to dive into hard subjects and this book is no different. This deals with the topics of religion, family issues and suicide making it a mature read. I like how the author writes in poems which makes it very interesting to read and makes it feel like it's faster paced because you just want to keep reading. The characters are full of depth and really help the story line and make you feel for them. I feel like this is a book many people can relate to due to the number of issues involved in this book. Rating 2.5 out of 5 stars

Another very good book by Ellen Hopkins. She writes on very interesting topics and makes it hard to put the book down . Fantastic Author .
