Very good "B" type 70's war film of an unknown aspect of WW II . Great acting and scenery . Very violent and disturbing scenes. Banned in Italy for a very long time because of its portrayal of Fascist atrocities. The political mess in the middle east is very similar now. What are we to do ??? you cant become as brutal as the Italians and you cant change peoples cultures and religion at gunpoint. As an Italian American I am ashamed of Mussolini and the Catholic church during WWII.
