The story that brings the Ranger's Apprentice arc full-circle!

Will Treaty has come a long way from the small boy with dreams of knighthood. Life had other plans for him, and as an apprentice Ranger under Halt, he grew into a legend--the finest Ranger the kingdom has ever known. Yet Will is facing a tragic battle that has left him grim and alone. To add to his problems, the time has come to take on an apprentice of his own, and it's the last person he ever would have expected. Fighting his personal demons, Will has to win the trust and respect of his difficult new companion--a task that at times seems almost impossible.

Ok, so, I really liked this series and i'd defanatly recommend it, but seriously, have you seen the covers? They're horrible! Like on the Siege of Macindaw, i mean pink and yellow?!
Other then the covers though it's a really amazing series, as soon as i'd finished one i'd pick up the next one and start reading!

Flanagan has done it again, weaving a beloved conclusion to his beloved series with well-fleshed-out characters, raw and undefined emotion, and a few sarcastic witticisms thrown into the mix. Definitely not the best in the series, but heartbreaking all the same. Sudden twists and shocks keep you turning page after page, just waiting to read more. The only downsides are a few editing errors, the existence of a rather annoying character, and the death of a highly-treasured character that will leave you in tears.

Not the best book in the series. AT ALL!!! The character Maddie really spoiled it.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: A beloved character dies in a sad (and sort of pitiful too) way.

will drew the bow back to his ear. one look at the sights and his well trained eyes could see that it would be a clean shot. He loosed.
