Have you ever wondered what it would be like to take a Velociraptor for a walk, or try to brush a Tyrannosaur's teeth? We think of dinosaurs as colossal giants, but how big were they REALLY?
With kid-friendly text and seriously silly illustrations, this fact-filled book puts dinosaurs next to modern animals so that you can see exactly how they size up. And a huge fold-out chart compares the dinos to each other, from the tiniest Microraptor to Argentinosaurus, the largest animal to ever walk the land.

This is Lita Judge at her best. She puts her 2 greatest assets to use: her artistic talent and her actual studies and work in archaeology. With many dinosaur books to choose from, this book is a great choice because it gives young readers comparisons to known animals so they can grasp their large or smallness. The book also presents many facts that dinosaur-lovers may not know and yet does so in limited bites for young readers.

They were really small! And really big! And superstar T-rex wasn't even the biggest! How would they stack up to the animals of today? Compare and contrast in this read aloud story.

Reads like a picture book. Wonderful comparisons to modern day animals.
