From Library Staff

This documentary film tells the story of Cuba's National Art Schools through the eyes of the architects who were asked by Castro to build them in 1961. They halted the project when the ideals of the revolution gave way to Soviet-influenced functionalism.

good doc - the first flush of revolutionary enthusiasm begins the creation of a school for the arts but it gets lost in the doctrine and the economics
the ruins are still engaging
