Stupid horror entry I guess by Stephen King. B actors and C film. Was the wooden Indian supposed to be scary. The raft monster looked laughably like they threw a chewed up black rug on the water. But it gave it an excuse to show a woman's mammary gland. Can't even remember the third story it was so bad. Though the film is watchable on 2x fast forward.

Not quite as good as the first film, and the special effects could have been better, but this is still one of the best anthology horror movies out there.

The first segment, one about a living Cigar Store Indian, is a rather cool concept, but my main problem with this one is that for about 90% of the segment, nothing is happening. Still a solid entry, and besides the main villain, the acting is pretty good. Overall 3/5, enjoyable

The second segment involves a group of teens that go to a closed down lake to party on a wooden raft, once they get there they discover a gelatinous mass in the water that slowly consumes them. Sticks pretty closely to the original Stephen King story (which I have read, and really enjoyed), and the acting was good. My personal favourite segment. However, the effects on the creature/blob, are awful! It just looks like a garbage bag they threw some slime on and placed on top of that water. Besides that, when the people are being consumed, the effects are amazing. Overall 4/5, great entry

The final segment concerns a woman driving home being harassed by an undead hitchhiker. Not much to talk about, pretty good. The most basic story, but that doesn't make it bad 3/5.

The cartoon wraparound is also very cool, however they did completely charge the Creep for this movie. In the first one he resembles a living skeleton, while in this movie he looks a lot more like the Cryptkeeper or the Vault Keeper, obviously a throwback to the old EC comics that so heavily influenced this movie.

Definitely give this one a watch if you're a horror fan.
