Finally saw this movie, good thing never brought it. Full of clichés from every military action tv / movies I have seen.

Doesn't really add that much to the series, but gives us a little background on a young Adama. Figured out the thin plot and anticipated the main twist long before it happened, but watching the entire series will clue you into all is not what it appears. Can't really recommend this unless you're really starved for some sci-fi.

Not as good as the series but still a pretty decent stand alone film! Really interesting to see a young Adama in action.

Really enjoy the series so I really enjoyed this movie. Great background on Admiral Adama and his first mission. Clues you in on where he picks up his call sign "Husker" and alone is a good story. I think you will like it too.

I'm not a fan of this series,.. but really enjoyed this (stand alone) sci-fi buddy action film.

Good story, pithy characters, first-rate production values, and sumptuous visual effects.

"Meh" comes to mind. The battle sequences were just as cool as the remake BSG series but this storyline was pretty weak overall.

Very typical plot and uninteresting characters that I didn't care much for.

Overall it wasn't terrible, but it really wasn't good either.

Stick with the 2004 series. That one was better.
