A waste of time. Janet Evanovich fans will be disappointed.

Slow at times yet it is an overall intriguing tale of finding genuine love.

The book was an enjoyable easy read & good escape literature. The characters were believable and realistic. I liked Caroline's spunk and reading about that time period. It seemed the author was in a hurry to finish and rushed the ending.

I really enjoyed this e- book as I could get carried away with the different characters, as described the woman narrator who manages to give each character (men and women) a different voice or intonation.

I liked the characters, the predictable story-line and the era, but thought that Caroline was a little too bold for the era, especially on the boat! Why the proposal to Caroline wound up where it did was kind of creepy and anti-climatic. Is that what they wish to remember. And, I agree with others in that they could have really extended the happy denouement a little more....a la Jane Austen. I feel like rewriting that section.
