They don't make movies much better than "The Tall Men". This is one of Clark Gables best movies. I sometimes forget what a good cowboy he portrayed in film. He seems tough enough to handle 3000 cattle on an impossible trip through dangerous Indian Country. Don't miss one of the best western films ever made!

The Tall Men ---- (DVD - 2006) ---- I viewed this show Early in life, now it seams very Corny. ---- The majority of the cast were stiff and ridged. ---- Good Laughs here and there. ---- Problems with one of the Native American Tribes in Montana. ---- Open season on them and the Cowboys traveling thru thier land. ---- Standard for the times of filming. ----Enjoy! ---- RichardPaul (Finished 1- 2014)

The kind of film where dumb, macho plans always work out, because the dumb, macho star says they will. This time, it's Clark Gable. Ryan is mostly wasted, and Russell does what she does. Multiple versions of possibly the worst movie song ever make The Tall Men unfit for the sensitive.

Singing: "DON'T want a small man, I want a tall man!" Or something like that.
