'Giraffes Can't Dance' is just plain wonderful!
We've all been clumsy and awkward, watching the graceful wistfully from a distance. It takes the tiniest cricket to bring out the grace of the giraffe named Gerald. Every illustration is bright and charming . . . with lions that tango!

This is one of my favorite stories to read to my son. You can almost sing it. He especially enjoys the vivid colors on each page. This will be one of our favorites for a long time.
Fun story to share that gives the message to believe in yourself and that we are all wonderful in our own way.
Sometimes we do our own dance! I love the message in this book that when we celebrate our own expression, others feel empowered to share theirs.
Beautiful illustrations, story and lesson. Both my 4 yr old and 2 yr old loved it
Just as simple as you would think but my 14mo old enjoyed it
This by far our favorite book, that we have checked out from the library. Cute rhyming story about "sometimes when you're different you just need a different song"
This book is a great read-aloud choice, as the rhymes are fun, and also, it covers, in a gentle and creative way, the theme of bullying amongst younger kids.
I would recommend it for ages 4 and up.
