Another tie in for the Blackest Night storyline, this one is closely linked to the main miniseries, so the reader will have to be reading the other volume at the same time. The story's a big, sweeping tale, and the art suits the epic feel of it as Hal Jordan (still a rather dull character) tries to rally multiple heroes (and villains) against a common threat.

Not recommended for young readers.
There is a scene of a villain murdering his family and then killing himself that is very gruesome. I've asked the Library to not censor the book, but at least put it into the adult graphic novel section. Seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Thanks for your concern for young children! Story is good, a little hard to follow, but recommended for adults.

Very incomplete, especially if you haven't read the main Blackest Night storyline.
