An interesting anthology of novella tales. The first two bear more in common, stand alone sets out of modern times, with a love that's quick to set in and a tough protagonist with the world against her. They were worth reading, but were long enough as they were. The third story, a modern woman for whom love was not the ultimate goal, and who's story fits into the greater time line of a series, was the odd one out. And yet, it was that one that made me run to my computer to place a hold on another of the authors work as soon as I put the book down.
