Such a cute story with a very sincere bear who wants to save everyone from fire. My kids had good laugh when they saw the bear put off fire for Principal. We love this book!

Absurdity at its best in children's literature. Ted can't find a firefighter, so he becomes one, with disastrous results that don't seem to faze Ted in the least. Pants on fire? Call the janitor! Call the librarian! Call somebody! Or just wait for Ted to save the day... kinda. Completely hilarious.

(There are other Ted books, but in my opinion, the others are much more random with Ted's behavior and thus not as funny. In Artist Ted he torments an new kid at school throughout most of the book in an extremely disturbing way. I was really unsettled by any adult thinking this was funny, and Ted never apologizes or seems to realize he's done anything wrong.)

Cute little book about a teddy bear who wakes up to the smell of burnt toast. He decides to become a firefighter and proceeds through a series of misadventures as he tries to help those around him.
