This book all starts when a big fat alligator comes to Irene's house and everyone starts thinking of a hiding spot. This is a very suspenseful book and it is very enjoyable. In real life, gators are actually really scary and they have really big teeth and sometimes they can actually eat people! This book would be recommended for ages 4-9 because it is a very childlike book. I really like this book and so that's why I think you should borrow this book as soon as possible! This book is meant for children who like animals and love reading. As a kid, I've always wished for a pet alligator, but I was warned that they were very dangerous. Rating 4/5.

It is a very funny book, the crocodile is my favourite.

Cute art but the story line doesn't flow very well. Plus it doesn't send a very good message to your kids about letting strangers into your house.
