Cheesy, silly and just okay for my taste. Good for kids to park in front of the telly to kill two hours.

Silly, but still fun to watch if you are willing to suspend critical judgements. The second installment in the trilogy has much better scenery (fewer fake sets) and is an improvement over the first.

I enjoyed the first episode and was hoping this was as good but it was disappointed. Noah Wylie came across as a cocky, arrogant jerk. And WHAT is with the womanizing? It was laughable. Loved Bob Newhart and Jane Curtain in their small parts. I'll watch the next one only because it's the 3rd & last movie.

Lots of action and fantasy elements. Even more thrilling than the original, which I wasn't sure was possible. But what happened to Flynn's bodyguard?

All though these movies aren't the greatest movies ever made, I really enjoy them. I would recommend this movie to fans of lower budget action flicks.

A fun series with good special effects but poor chemistry between the leading characters.

Return to King Solomon's Mine is the second episode of the series.

Directed by Jonathan Frakes a seasoned director (yes Commander William T. Riker from Star Trek TNG ) the action and humour are both there but somehow it is still difficult to suspend your belief enough to get throughly involved in the film.

More so than the first episode, chemistry again is still lacking between the leading lady and series star Noah Wyle of ER fame. Gabrielle Anwar (Princess Margaret from the series "The Tudors") stands well on her own, however by the time she flies off into the sunset you feel Flynn will really not miss her.

Not as good as the first one, but still watchable.

Flynn Carsen: Judson, am I dead?
Judson: [flying a kite] Do you wanna be dead?
Flynn Carsen: No.
Judson: Then you're not dead.
