What I really liked about this particular "Thin Man" sequel was that it featured quite a few swinging, hot-jazz numbers which certainly helped to bolster up its wafer-thin story-line.

Released back in 1947 - "Song Of The Thin Man" was the 6th film (and the last) in the popular "Thin Man" series which was based on the crime-fiction stories written by Dashiell Hammett.

So - If you like Hollywood actors, Myrna Loy and William Powell - Then - You're sure to be quite entertained by this fast-paced tale where (once again) amateur sleuths, Nick & Nora Charles (along with their faithful dog, Asta) wrap up yet another perplexing case of music, mayhem, mystery, and, yes, murder!

William Powell and Myrna Loy are back as Nick and Nora Charles. We shouldn't forget they comic little dog astor. "Song of the Thin Man" is not a musical, it starts and ends in a dance ballroom. Of course there is a murder and Nora thinks Charles should find the murder. Of course, he would like to slide up to the bar for alcoholic beverages and socializing first. He always seems to discover the murder without even really trying very hard. It just come easy to him. I think you will enjoy them again in the "Thin Man" series of movies. Thanks for reading the above and as always let me know here on the KCLS how you like the film.
P.S. This is another buried treasure since KCLS has only one copy of the film. As of today it only has one hold, so you can get it soon if you act today.

Nick and Nora are just as witty and in love as ever. And being joined by Keenan Winn makes for and especially hilarious story of swing music and murder. As usual in this whodunit, you can't guess right until the very end.
