I absolutely loved this book. It's funny, yet romantic. I would totally recommend this book to someone if they wanted a good read.

I really really enjoyed this book! It was really fun seeing the male perspective vs. the female perspective. It's also quite a shocking ending!

This book started out pretty slow and boring, but it got much better. Luisa and her friends were very relatable, although a little too boy crazy at times. There were too many characters for my liking, so that got confusing. Luisa had romantic feelings for 3 different guys throughout the book, so it got confusing as to who she might possibly end up with. Scoop's true identity was a surprise, although I was slightly suspicous of him. Grace was really annoying and inconsiderate, making Luisa take her shifts at the diner, watch her baby, and just put up with all her crap in general, without even thanking Luisa. I don't think that a real school would have let them publish those articles in the paper, though, due to all the constant bickering and sexual innuendos, but they were pretty funny. At times, this book seemed a little older than the year it was published - 2008 - probably due to the lack of pop culture references that I've gotten so used to seeing. Luisa's family situation (mom and sister dealing with teenage pregnancies and struggling to make ends meet) was also a good, modern subject matter. If you liked this book, or want a better, more modern battle-of-the-sexes book to read, I highly recommend Shut Out by Kody Keplinger.

Pretty good. My only big problem was that there were so many guys I couldn't remeber who is who. I loved the newpaper columns and the story in general was good.

I love how they communicate with each other. And how Luisa actually stands up for herself when Mariah disses her,and not let her push her around.

Not bad. I still can't understand why the school let them print articles like that, but the book was interesting enough for me to read through it without getting bored.

this book was boring. the articles they wrote were unamginative, and i dont beleive a real school would give students a colomn when all they do is insult each other. there were so many boys that went through this book that i lost track. overall, unexciting and stupid.

"So how do you want to do this?" Joey asks. "Should we warm up first or just get straight to it?"
I roll over on his bed and stare up at the ceiling. "I'm not sure. I haven't done it before."
"Neither have I. But how hard can it be? We should just follow our instincts."
"If you want my opinion, you should talk less and write more," a third voice says. Joey's father wheels up behind him and looks at the computer screen. "You haven't even started yet. I put a roast in the oven when you asked if Luisa could stay for dinner, and I'd like to serve it today."
