The music of The Grateful Dead has a mystical quality all its own that cannot be defined by genre, its something you feel and it is something you can only experience LIVE!
On June 18, the Not So Quiet! concert series is proud to present Live on The Road at Buder Library featuring the greatest Grateful Dead band St. Louis could ever hope to have, Jake’s Leg.
Jake’s Leg has been providing music for the scene for over 43 years, playing thousands of shows to generations of like-mined fans and Deadheads who just want to keep on dancing.
Make no mistake, Jake’s Leg is not The Grateful Dead and it’s not supposed to be. While they draw mainly on the repertoire of America’s favorite psychedelic blues-rock jug band, Jake’s Leg bring their own sensibilities to each part. The music can take you anywhere you want to go and Jake’s Leg makes it a great sounding trip.
Whether you are a longtime fan or new to the Dead experience, come join the band at Buder Library, June 18, 2020 as they weave a one-of-a-kind musical experience you don’t want to miss.
Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax on while enjoying the music in the parking lot of the Buder Library as we celebrate the incredible music of The Grateful Dead with St. Louis’ own Jake’s Leg.
Fans may bring their own coolers packed with soft drinks and adult beverages, but please - no cooking, BBQ or open flame.
This is an all-ages show and we encourage you to bring the entire family for an evening of FREE music at the Buder Library, 4401 Hampton Avenue, June 18th from 7pm -8pm.
The Not So Quiet! Concert Series is made possible by generous support from Plaza Advisory Group, Inc. and the St. Louis Public Library Foundation.
