In honor of Hip Hop Appreciation Week, the St. Louis Public Library warmly welcomes the soul goddess of St. Louis, Drea Vocalz.
Her unique tone allows listeners cares to melt away through her music. Capturing audiences with her star fire snaps and high-energy delivery, the St. Louis native pulls from her authentic experiences of city life.
In her new album “mono.gamy,” Drea debuts a new recipe of cosmic energy rarely heard on recordings and is borderline miraculous to witness live and in person.
As seen on FOX2 St. Louis’ Band In A Box with Kim Hudson, Drea Vocalz is bringing and singing a message of perseverance, love and soul to St. Louis audiences, reminiscent of her influences Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Prince.
Drea Vocalz’s soul power is undeniable, giving her the opportunity to become an icon of St. Louis, as her music is already grounded, classic and unforgettable.
